Below is the list of its dissemination routine:
  1. GoFastPC would attack bug on loosely programmed websites.

GoFastPC Dodges Security Defense

When GoFastPC is running amuck, why installed anti-virus programs won’t do anything? Nowadays, virus is getting smarter. It no longer uses the vicious attribute code (the one on which anti-virus programs rely to kill infections) to help redirect users to its registration website and triggers its launch at each Windows Start. Instead, it adopts BHO and JS techniques that are slightly modified to help modify DNS settings and redirects; besides, its maker use main-stream language to write a program that pops up ridiculous numbers of the problem you have. By doing so, GoFastPC will not be caught by installed security utilities.

What’s worse, as soon as GoFastPC gets onto a machine, it would write its own date to the end of the physical drive, its running code will be successfully injected into background running processes. Consequently, the machine will take order directly from GoFastPC.

Dangers from GoFastPC

Global PC Support Center would like to inform users that the real harms are from its registration web site. JS technique is simply involved in building web page. It is the very technique that helps you remember your account and password so that you won’t need to bother type them all over again when you mistakenly quit a web page. A good thing can be converted into an evil thing. With slight modifications, the JS technique can be utilized to record any in-put information. That’s to say, your bank account, address, name and other confidential information that is required to register for GoFastPC’s advanced version will be collected to your face and you don’t even know what’s going on. Besides your log-in credentials will be recorded as well when under the control of the fake anti-virus program. Other damages from GoFastPC are:
  1. Additional items will install on the target machine without permission.
